Introduction
This policy covers the DotLab website and its early list. "DotLab", "we" and "us" mean the team that runs this site. By using the site you agree to what is described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Your email address, if you join the early list, and which form you used.
Information collected automatically:
- Standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.
We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or fingerprinting. The verifier tools run in your browser and nothing you hash or paste there is sent to us.
How we use your information
- To email you when claims open and about major protocol milestones.
- To keep the site secure, for example by rate limiting abusive requests.
We never sell your email or share it for marketing.
Information sharing
We use a small number of service providers to run the site: our hosting and database provider (Railway), and Google Fonts to serve the typefaces, which receives your IP address when the fonts load. Public blockchain data shown on the token page is read from public sources and is not personal data we hold.
Data retention
We keep your email until you ask us to remove it or we stop running the early list. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Write to us at the contact address listed on our official accounts and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy. Access to the email list requires an admin token. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected people if a breach puts their data at risk.
